Account Deletion — Hostragons Client Area
How to request deletion of your Hostragons customer account accessed through the mobile application, what will be deleted, and what we are required by law to keep.
Last updated: 21 August 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your customer account accessed through the
Hostragons Client Area mobile application (Hostragons Client Area, package
identifier com.draconisinfrastructure.hostragons), which is developed and published by
Draconis Infrastructure, LLC.
1. Which account does this page cover?
This page applies to the Hostragons customer account that you access through the mobile application. The app is a WebView that opens your account on hostragons.com (WHMCS platform). The app itself does not send any data to its own server and contains no authentication code.
For data deletion requests concerning this corporate website or other brands, see the main Data Deletion Request page.
2. How to submit an account deletion request
You can request deletion of your Hostragons customer account in two ways:
2.1 Through the mobile app
Open the Hostragons Client Area app, go to the customer area, and submit a support ticket requesting account deletion. Include your full name, account email address, and (if applicable) the domain name or service number associated with your account. Please do not include passwords or full payment card numbers in your message.
2.2 By email
Send an email to info@draconisinfrastructure.com with "Account deletion request — Hostragons" in the subject line. Please include:
- your full name;
- the email address registered to your Hostragons account (and any other address under which data may be held);
- the domain name or service number, if applicable; and
- confirmation that you are making the request yourself or as an authorised agent for the account holder.
Please do not include passwords, full payment card numbers, or other sensitive credentials. We may ask you for information that lets us verify your identity, so that we do not delete or disclose someone else's data by mistake. Submitting a request is free of charge.
3. What happens next
- We aim to acknowledge your request within one business day.
- We verify your identity, and where necessary an agent's authority to act for you.
- We complete verified requests within 30 days, and in any event within the period required by applicable law — one month under the GDPR (extendable by two further months for complex requests, in which case we will tell you) and 45 days under the CCPA/CPRA (extendable once by a further 45 days).
- We confirm in writing what was deleted and what, if anything, we had to keep and why.
4. What will be deleted
When you request deletion of your Hostragons account, the following categories of personal data will be deleted or anonymised:
- Account profile data — your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, and other contact information associated with your customer account;
- Support and correspondence records — messages and tickets exchanged through the customer area, subject to the retention rules below;
- Marketing preferences — any consent or opt-out choices you have made regarding marketing communications.
5. What we are required to keep
Some data cannot be deleted on request because we are required or permitted by law to retain it, as described in the "Data Retention" section of our Privacy Policy. This includes:
- Payment, invoicing and accounting records — kept for tax, accounting and anti-fraud purposes for the periods required by law;
- Records needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim;
- Fraud or abuse prevention records — the minimum information needed to record that you asked us not to contact you or to keep a record of fraud or abuse prevention.
Anything outside those categories is deleted or anonymised.
6. Active services and outstanding invoices
If your Hostragons account has active services (such as an active hosting subscription, domain registration, or server) or outstanding invoices at the time you request deletion, we will contact you to discuss your options. In general:
- Active services will be suspended or terminated in accordance with the applicable terms, and any remaining credit balance will be handled according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Outstanding invoices remain due and payable; we are required to retain the minimum records necessary to collect payment and comply with accounting requirements.
7. If you are not satisfied
If you are in the EEA or the UK and are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. California residents may also contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or the California Attorney General.
